Complaints regarding fraudulent activity, waste of resources, and/or abuse of authority can be made by Commission employees or members of the public in person, over the telephone, via the United States Postal Service, or the online through the OIG Hotline Form.
Complaints can be made anonymously, however; choosing to remain anonymous can hinder the Office of Inspector General’s ability to fully investigate alleged misconduct. When a complainant chooses to identify themselves, the Office of Inspector General will not disclose the identity of the person providing information without their consent unless the Inspector General determines disclosure is unavoidable.
You may also submit a complaint to share ideas and suggestions for ways to improve the USITC in the areas of efficiency and effectiveness.
